In partnership with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ – LI cooperating organisation) and FDP.Die Liberalen (LI partner), the 194th Executive Committee of Liberal International and an LI co-hosted symposium – part of LI’s year-long reflection on liberalism in the twenty-first century – took place in Zurich, Switzerland on 12-14 June 2015.
The Executive Committee–Symposium theme was entitled ‘Liberalism: visions for our future’ and brought together high-level liberals from 43 countries and every region of the world, with a keynote address from the Swiss Minister for Foreign Affairs, Didier Burkhalter.

Urgency Resolutions:
The following urgency resolutions were adopted by the 194th Executive Committee meeting of Liberal International on 12th June in Zurich, Switzerland.
– The situation in Catalonia was also discussed at length by the LI bureau, which expressed concern that the guidance set out in the World Today Resolution – adopted by liberals world-wide at the 59th Congress of Liberal International – is not being implemented.
