Europe has more Liberal International member parties than any other region of the world. We have a close relationship with our partners, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), to expand the appeal of Liberalism across the continent.
The New Austria and Liberal Forum, founded in 2012, NEOS joined Liberal International in 2017 at the Andorra Congress and became a full member party at the Hague Executive Committee meeting in 2025.

Liberalno-demokratska partija was launched in April 1997 as a merger between the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party, that joined Liberal International in 1994 at the Reykjavík Congress.
