Within one year of the FDP triumphantly returning to the German Bundestag with 80MPs, Liberal International is proud to announce that the global federation of liberal and democratic political parties will convene its 200th Executive Committee meeting in the German capital, Berlin. The ExCom will be held in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) between 22-24th June 2018.

The following resolutions were adopted by the 200th Executive Committee meeting of Liberal International on 22nd June in Berlin, Germany.
Ahead of LI’s 200th executive committee meeting and climate change conference in Berlin, Frank Sitta MP, deputy leader of the Free Democrats Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag, argues that while Liberals have similar environmental goals as the Greens, they must adopt a smarter strategy when it comes to enviorimental policies and climate justice.
