Despite lockdowns across the MENA region still in effect, Liberal International’s Democratic Training Academy (LIDTA), which is being run in partnership with VVD International, has continued to move forward!

Rather than cancel the training, programme coordinators have shifted the sessions online and have been developing effective ways to deliver political education through web-tools. Participants are now being engaged in a series of interactive lectures revolving around political debate, as well as getting a chance to practice it for themselves.

The aim of the LIDTA programme is to empower young talented people to become liberal political leaders in the future. Keeping the sessions running through this trying time is therefore essential so as not to lose any progress that the group has already made.
