The 176th Executive Committee of Liberal International will take place on 22-24 June 2006 in Manila and Tagaytay, Philippines. This will be a joint meeting with the annual Council of Asian and Liberal Democrats – Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (CALD-ALDE) meeting. We are being generously hosted by the Liberal Party of the Philippines.
The topic of this conference is “Population, Migration, and Globalisation”. Prominent Liberals attending this event will include Her Excellency Corazon Aquino, Philippine Senate President Franklin M. Drilon, Graham Watson MEP, as well as many high-level parliamentarians from CALD including from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Burma and Taiwan.
