Upon invitation of the Liberal Democrats (LI Full Member) and LI British Group (LIBG – LI Full Member), the 159th Executive Committee Meeting of Liberal International took place in the site where LI was founded 50 years earlier in Oxford, UK on the Wednesday 14th November 1997.
