In partnership with Mouvement Populaire and Rassemblement National des Indépendants (LI full members) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Morocco (FNF – LI cooperating organisation), the 197th Executive Committee of Liberal International was held in Marrakech, Morocco between 11-13 November 2016.
Coinciding with the United Nations Climate Change Summit, COP22, and at the invitation of Morocco’s Minister of the Environment and LI Vice-President, Hakima El Haite, liberals from around the world were able to participate in talks on the highest level concerning global responses to one of the greatest threats facing humanity in the twenty-first century.
