Edinburgh 1996

The 155th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Liberal International in Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). The meeting is hosted by the Scottish Liberal Democrats (LI full member).

A welcome reception will be organised on Friday 15 March (evening). On Saturday both the seminar on decentralisation issues and the formal session of the Executive Committee will take place. On Sunday all delegates are invited for lunch at the home of Sir David Steel in Ettrickbridge (approximately one hour south of Edinburgh). Enclosed you will find a draft programme for the entire event, as well as the draft agenda for the formal session of the Executive Committee on Saturday afternoon.

The meeting will take place at the New Parliament House on Regent Road in Edinburgh, in the hall that was designed to hold the meetings of a Scottish Parliament.

A special arrangement has been made with the four star Carlton Highland Hotel, North Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1SD.
