As Somalia enters a pivotal year leading up to its 2025 federal elections, alarm is growing over accelerating constitutional changes and governance practices that risk derailing the country’s democratic progress.

The bureau of Liberal International, meeting on Friday 30th April, insists that the process of democratization is the only model for bringing lasting peace to upholding the rule of law and human rights standards in Somalia.
