Steffen Pabst is a fully qualified lawyer, specialised in International Law. During his PhD studies, he had a main focus on fundamental rights, the European Convention on Human Rights and the European Charter of Fundamental Rights.

Later he taught students across Europe on Fundamental Rights, mainly in the context of procedural law, until today. With this specific academic background, his substantial knowledge of human rights instruments and its interpretation Steffen can provide valuable input to the Committee’s work.
