Joëlle Fiss has over twenty years of work experience in the public sector, including being the policy advisor and press spokesman in the European Parliament, and within NGOs (‘Human Rights First’ – a human rights organisation in New York).
Currently, Ms Fiss is working as a consultant and researcher, attending projects like the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (Washington DC).
Over the years she has acquired In-depth knowledge on human rights, foreign affairs, justice and home affairs, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, integration policies, anti-discrimination.
In her free time, Ms Fiss took up guest lecture opportunity at the Cardozo Law School, in a Human Rights and Atrocity Prevention Clinic and at the Faculté des Lettres, Geneva University, giving classes on the topic of “Religion and Global Governance. Ms Fiss is motivated to make a difference, whether to help shape debates, sharpen opinions or share ideas.
