Eli Feinzaig is founder and president of the Partido Liberal Progresista (Liberal Progressive Party) in Costa Rica and a Deputy in the Costa Rican Legislative Assembly. He is an economist with postgraduate studies in finance and environmental economics. As a legislator, he has proposed extensive government reforms and institutional streamlining, tax simplification and digitalisation, and projects for economic development. In his parliamentary role, Eli has been outspoken in the defense of liberal democratic values such as freedom of speech, republican checks and balances, and individual rights.
