Former Member of the LI Human Rights Committee

Dr. Stephanie Krisper is a human rights expert currently serving as Member of Parliament for NEOS (Das Neue Österreich). Previously, she worked at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights with focus on torture prevention and public security.

Prior to joining the Institute in 2009, Dr. Krisper served as a former legal adviser for asylum seekers, an Emergency Protection Officer in Sri Lanka, and a Human Rights Expert for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission Delegation to the UN.

Dr. Krisper speaks German, English and French and has degrees in law and human rights from the University of Vienna and the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation.
