Dave Bryant is a member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament and the Democratic Alliance’s Chairperson for the Standing Committee on Local Government, Environmental Affairs, and Development Planning. Before becoming a member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament, he served as Shadow Minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment in the South African National Assembly and as a councillor at the City of Cape Town, where he chaired committees on the environment, planning, sustainability and resilience. He is an active member of the International Climate Parliament and is keenly interested in environmental and climate change issues.
