Applications are now open for the NextGen Liberals Mentorship Programme, an in-person, three-day leadership and mentorship initiative taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 2–4 October 2026.

The Programme will bring together 15 young women liberal leaders for an intensive experience centred on personalised mentorship, leadership development, and intergenerational exchange with experienced liberal politicians and civil society leaders. Participants will strengthen their leadership and advocacy skills, expand their international liberal networks, and contribute to the NextGen Liberal Action Report, which will be presented at the 65th Congress of Liberal International in November 2026.

Organised by Liberal International and D66 International, in cooperation with the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) and the International Network of Liberal Women (INLW), the Programme aims to empower the next generation of women leaders in liberal politics through practical learning, lasting mentorship, and international collaboration.

Eligibility criteria:

• Women aged 18–30
• Eligible countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, or Ukraine.
• Affiliation requirement: Applicants must represent a liberal political party or liberal organisation.

✈️ Travel and accommodation costs for selected participants will be fully covered.
