Sir Graham Watson – former leader of the ALDE Party, a secretary general of IFLRY, and five-times elected a Liberal Democrat (UK) Member of the European Parliament – was awarded the medal of liberalism in Bulgaria, in the presence of delegates to the ALDE party council meeting. Sir Graham has, since 1979, worked to advance liberal values in his home country, across Europe and around the world.
